Good Morning,
You have a very very broad question. There are always problems as a producer, but with experience you learn how to troubleshoot before problems arise and how to always have a scene in your back pocket you can shoot if something goes wrong with the present shot. Something can go wrong in everything on a set; someone sick, actor late, a prop breaks, a piece of equipment fails. I could go on and on. If you can't always fix the problem in a short time, switch gears. Time wasted is #1 problem. Time is money and means making or breaking your schedule, so ALWAYS have a way to get something shot while fixing the problem.
Getting jobs is an actors biggest problem.
Good luck

Personally as a freelance voice actor I have seen many issues especially when it comes to finding work without an agent or anyone to help me. I do everything on my own in my own home. The best advice I can give is to make sure that you have a space set aside specifically for any voice acting or just line reading. I hope this helps you in your journeys
Thanks for the advice.
