Not PA school, but I left PT school after a couple semesters after not really making it through neuroanatomy and struggling a little bit in general. I had a bachelors in health administration. I spent one year as a claims processor, then got lucky to find a position in the population health space which I was generally unfamiliar with. From there I was really able to grow and started learning data analytics. I’ve now worked my way up to being a high level senior analyst and absolutely love what I get to do. I work with data to show outcomes, help drive decisions, and help drive patient outreach. I’m also somewhat responsible for data integrity in one of our databases.
