Hey Corey,
Senior year is not too late to start looking at what colleges you would like to attend if you have laid a good foundation. Set yourself up for success during all four years of high school.
.
1) Earn good grades in challenging courses
2) Take the ACT/SAT early and get a good score
3) Conduct yourself in a manner to earn recommendations
4) Volunteer/extracurricular activities
Good Luck and Best Wishes on your journey!

Hi Corey,
It's a great start to look into college! Make a list of where you would like to go and research the course you plan on taking. Make sure you have all the info for financial aid application. The college app usually require a few letters of recommendation, so a professor or employer could be a value. Commit to some sort of extra circular activities when time permits. Also volunteering and internships look very appeasing on the application. Also any kind of responsibility at the work place can be noted too. The other important thing is to keep on top of application deadline. They come and go quickly so being prepared would be beneficial to you.

It's good to start preparing for college as soon as possible! But senior year is not too late. Research what the prerequisites are and when applications are due to get an idea of necessary tasks and timeline. Also don't forget to consider less traditional routes like going to state/two year colleges before going to university or considering trade or arts schools depending on your interests. Consider your career goals as matching your college choice to your career goals can potentially save a lot of time and money.
