Hi Kristina, it's very likely that you would spend around 30 years in your professional career. My recommendation would be to dig inside of you and try to find a job that allows you to do what you really love. I have done jobs that I hated it, I have done jobs that I liked, and I am now doing a job that I love. You might be able to find your dream job the first time you apply for a job, but it's very likely that you will have to go through the trial and error face many times. Every single job, whether you like it or not, teaches you something. Every single job you take you will meet interesting people and you will grow professionally and personally becoming a better version of you. Set the right expectations with yourself. don't rush it. As much as you probably wanna find your dream job the first time you apply for a job I don't know anybody that has done that yet. Try to find a job that adjusts and works well with your personality, with who you are and with what you like because the minute you enjoy that job, it almost turns into a hobby. Doing something that you like, that you care about, that it's meaningful to you, that adjust with your type of personality and who you are, it's really really important. Again, set the right mindset and expectations with yourself and be ready to learn from any job and from the people you will be working with and whether you love it or not, that job will make you a better version of yourself and it will help you identify -almost by elimination- the things that you don't wanna do in the future. To give you an sample, I have been a technical support person, I have been a pre-sales person, and now I am a sales person. I did not enjoy technical support and presales that much but I only know that because I've done it, I've learned from it and now I can say that I don't want to look for those kind of jobs. Be patient. Finding a job did you love or your dream job is not a speed race, it's a marathon. It will take time. Hope this helps. All the best in your professional adventure!
