Is it possible to create a career teaching a religion such as Christianity?

Instead of teaching in a public school with a specific subject I want to teach Christianity. I have always wanted to be a teacher and Christianity is my passion.

Rebecca’s Answer

I would recommend teaching in a parochial school. Parochial Christian schools almost always have a religious studies component of the curriculum.

Benjamin’s Answer

A great way to enter into this profession is to gain a degree in religious education from a christian university. In the university I attended many of my friends obtained this degree and are now working as bible and religion teachers in private christian schools all over the USA as well as in other countries abroad.
