What jobs are available in Christian ministries?
Can I earn a living doing Christian ministry or must I have a complementary source of income (a second job)?

There are quite a few avenues in which one can take to be involved in ministry: Administration, Children’s Ministry (Infants to 5th or 6th Grade), Local Outreach, Tech/Sound, Worship Director, Student Ministries (Junior High & High School), HR, Bookkeeping, Janitorial, Counseling, and Graphic Design. Depending on the size of the church, and denomination, the jobs offered will vary.
Additionally, yes, it is possible to live off the income of a ministry position; however, depending on the pay & your location of living, you may need to supplement to afford the lifestyle you’d like to live.
My suggestion is this: if you know you are interested in ministry, seek out opportunities to serve in those areas now and even ask your local church for a summer internship in a particular area. From there, you can decide what you like to do most and you can build a relationship with some of the pastors/hiring staff.
