The term "ladderized course" is not something I've seen in the rest of the world; it appears to be a Philippines-specific thing. From what I read from a quick websearch, the whole concept of the ladderized system seems to be that you can complete your studies in steps on the ladder, achieving recognition for each step, and being able to move between steps without repeating course content. It therefore sounds like you should in principle be able to upgrade from the diploma to a BS. However, it might not be that straightforward - it sounds like your case is a bit of a change of subject too, and there might be other admissions criteria you need to meet for the BS that you didn't need for the Diploma.
I don't know the system where you are, but my experience is that the processes and requirements for transferring courses are often down to the particular institution you're studying at, so you would be best to ask the appropriate people at your institution - perhaps academic counselling or the admissions department of the course you want to switch to.

I definitely not qualify to answer you specific questions. I would recommend you talk to your department counselors for that. When I have to switch my major a long time ago, there were a list of courses that I have to make up (like 30 units). when my kids have to do that, they went through the same process, so there is no misunderstanding.
