Any idea what career would involve engineering and animals?
Not like testing animals or researching more involving engineering things for animals like habitats.

If you're seeking branches of engineering, you're likely to find work within Structural, Civil, or Environmental Engineering. You could also study Materials Engineering and learn about the materials side of things. I would recommend doing an individualized major or a dual major between engineering and Animal Science.

It sounds like you're interested in Zoology or Animal Science. But I think the career itself would be called Animal Behavioralist. As an animal science major even I am not totally sure. But I know that animal behaviorists can work at zoos and focus on animal husbandry and enrichment. They can also specialize in different areas like dog training etc.
On the flip side of this, if you are more interested in the engineering part of it but want to help animals with your career choice, I'd say you could look into environmental engineering. That career involves researching animals and building and restoring habitats. Also, zoos do hire engineers for planning out and building habitats.
The best I can recommend is researching the keywords and see if they interest you and then talking to a counselor to see which direction you should take to make this career happen. Hope this helps guide you.
