What makes me a good fit for a college/university?
As a fairly well-rounded student, I don't have any specific niches. I do want to be in a music program of some sort but that's common enough. Specifically, I want to know more about how college-specific programs could be something I could be a part of, in order to make an impact.

Beyond academic course offerings consider student life activities and academic related opportunities- such as research projects, civic engagement courses, student organizations, residential life. The best way is to visit campus while classes are in session and just get a feel for the campus. I also recommend speaking with current students if you can.

Money can also be a driver, if you're just looking for college credits, community colleges generally have cheaper rates than others but there's usually less of an on campus life since most students don't live there.
