Hi Logan!

It all depends on what you are interested in pursuing career-wise. Just know that you will most likely have to attend graduate school for both degrees (of course, depending on exactly what it is you want to do). With a BA in Psychology, you will be able to do a handful of things such as pursuing a career within the business field (with further education), medical field (with further education), etc. If you are interested in becoming a lawyer, you can honestly choose any major for undergraduate and go to law school. The best course of action would be to major in political science (polisci) or a different humanities/social science major as "pre-law" is not a major. With that being said, psychology could be a viable choice for you if you want to pursue a career in the world of law but again, it really is dependent on exactly what you want to do.

Better for what? If you want to be a lawyer, a psych degree may not be the best choice. But if you want to be a psychologist, then majoring in law may not pay off.

Note: I don't think there is an actual "law" major. You may be "pre-law", if you are planning on going to law school, but most pre-law students major in something like history, business, or something like that.

It's all about what's better for you! Which topic interests you more? What are your career aspirations? What are the reasons you're considering a psychology major or a pre-law concentration (I don't think you can major in law per se)? Have you read about psychology and pre-law on several college websites or talked to recent or current college students with a psychology major or a pre-law concentration?
