Hello!
This is a great question, when I was looking for scholarships I found it hard to distinguish between real scholarships and scholarships I felt were a scam. A great way to differentiate is by looking on the website to see if there are testimonials from past recipients. Additionally, I try to be specific about scholarship searches. For example, searching "scholarships for psychology majors" and looking at scholarships from organizations and applying directly on the organizations website. There are many various scholarships for specific majors, interest, even affinity groups and various aspects of identity. Feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss further!
