Construction Management tools are used to maintain flow of work and schedule, control costs, and maintain quality in program performance criteria and design intent.
For software, there are a myriad of tools available by Software as a Subscription these days. Use Choosing By Advantages if purchasing the best one to fit your work.
For your own person skill set of tools, there are a myriad of training sources these days. Some if which are free and some of which require payment for webinar, books, or training seminars. Some even offer credentials that improve your qualifications. See unconfirmed links for optional resources: https://www.agc.org/learn/education-training, https://leanconstruction.org/learning/
Attending a 4-year degree program through a recognized and accredited college or university is also a great way to guide you in building your knowledge base. Even though studying the theory creates a basis of knowledge and purchasing the tools allows for capability, the best lessons and skill sets are learned in the field by actually doing. Starting work in the craft / trades is a great way to build your own skill set of tools and be paid through a 4-year apprenticeship.
As a Construction Manager, you can always be learning in order to always be sharpening your tools.

Well, this is a larger question. The tools depend on the path that you want to take. For construction management the biggest tool you will need is a laptop computer since most all of Construction Management is program based today. The rest of the tools that you will need later usually is furnished by your employer and even a laptop most of the time is furnished by your employer once hired.
The other trades that you mention have basic tools of the trade that you would have to purchase and show up with on your first day of work. The basic tools, not specialized tools. These lists of tools are fairly easy to come by and can be purchased at a construction supply store or Home Depot. You can find a list of these on line. Just do a search for "basic tools of the trade and list the trade."
Hope this helps and good luck on your search for your future in the construction industry. I have been in it for over 45 years.

Hello Jakob,
Tools Needed for Construction Management
Construction management requires a variety of tools to effectively plan, organize, and execute construction projects. These tools are essential for ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule. Here are some of the key types of tools needed for construction management:
Project Management Software: Project management software is crucial for construction managers to plan, schedule, and track the progress of construction projects. This type of software allows for the creation of project timelines, allocation of resources, and monitoring of tasks and milestones. Examples of popular project management software include Primavera P6, Procore, and Microsoft Project.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) Software: BIM software enables construction managers to create 3D models of buildings and infrastructure, allowing for better visualization and coordination among various stakeholders. BIM software also facilitates clash detection, cost estimation, and construction sequencing. Notable BIM software includes Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Tekla Structures.
Estimating and Takeoff Software: Estimating and takeoff software is essential for accurately estimating the costs of materials, labor, and equipment required for construction projects. This type of software streamlines the process of quantifying project requirements from blueprints and specifications. Examples of estimating and takeoff software include PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, and Trimble Accubid.
Scheduling Tools: Scheduling tools are used to create detailed project schedules that outline the sequence of activities, dependencies, and durations required for construction projects. These tools help in optimizing resource utilization and identifying critical paths. Common scheduling tools include Gantt charts in project management software and standalone scheduling applications like FastTrack Schedule.
Cost Management Software: Cost management software is essential for tracking project expenses, managing budgets, and generating financial reports. This type of software helps construction managers monitor costs against estimates and identify areas where adjustments may be necessary. Popular cost management software includes Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate, Viewpoint Vista, and CMiC.
Collaboration Tools: Collaboration tools such as cloud-based document management systems, communication platforms, and virtual meeting solutions are vital for facilitating effective communication among project teams, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders. Examples include Microsoft Teams, Slack, Bluebeam Studio, and Procore’s collaboration features.
Quality Control Tools: Quality control tools are used to ensure that construction projects meet specified quality standards. These tools may include inspection checklists, testing equipment, quality management software, and non-destructive testing instruments.
In addition to these specific tools, construction managers may also require standard office productivity software such as spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel), word processing applications (e.g., Microsoft Word), presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint), and email clients to manage project documentation, correspondence, and reporting.
By leveraging these tools effectively, construction managers can streamline project workflows, enhance collaboration among project stakeholders, monitor project performance metrics, mitigate risks, and ultimately deliver successful construction projects.

Don't forget to read my autobiography, "About James Constantine," "What I Do At Work," paying close attention to the foods that provide all the essential nutrients for effective performance studying. These are brain nutrients, like the amino acids, to function adequately, the central nervous system (CNS) requires several amino acids found in protein foods.
Amino acids such as tryptophan, tyrosine, histidine, and arginine are used by the brain for the synthesis of various neurotransmitters and neuromodulators. The B complex vitamins, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin, Adenine, Pantothenic Acid, Pyridoxine, Cyanocobalamin, Folate, Inositol, Choline, and the minerals magnesium and zinc are essential.
Sugar is not required.
Fish and cod liver oil will crown it off nicely. Docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid are essential for neurons in the brain. Do it justice; You are divine never forget that! We need to make series three prostaglandins which are anti-inflammatory.
You might discover that you can accomplish twice as much academic work in half the time. Your energy is massive and your performance in exams and assignments will also impress the academe. You will improve significantly, especially if your diet is repleted. Replenishing missing nutrients can do wonders. So can high distinctions! It is metabolic and medical biochemistry!
