Valerie’s Answer
I enjoyed biology in highschool. I knew right then I wanted a career in the medical field. At first it was to become a veterinarian but that changed when I shadowed my cousin who was a medical laboratory technologist. After 37 years in the medical field I had the opportunity to do it over again I would become a physician. Why physician, because although I have college degrees I still feel limited by what I can do and say in healthcare. I feel that as a physician I would have gotten the opportunity to do much more than I have already achieve.
