I’m more of a science person. I get bored easily. I wanted to interact with people. I also wanted a stable job. Medicine fit my criteria

I always have a desire to be a doctor and help others somehow it gives me immense pleasure. This was the reason I had in my mind which pushed me into being a doctor.

I enjoyed biology in highschool. I knew right then I wanted a career in the medical field. At first it was to become a veterinarian but that changed when I shadowed my cousin who was a medical laboratory technologist. After 37 years in the medical field I had the opportunity to do it over again I would become a physician. Why physician, because although I have college degrees I still feel limited by what I can do and say in healthcare. I feel that as a physician I would have gotten the opportunity to do much more than I have already achieve.
