What do you accomplish each day?
I have a strong interest in becoming a veterinarian, but I have no idea what a regular day might include.

Becoming a Veterinarian is a good intent Monique especially in the United States. Veterinarians could work as practicing vets in a clinic or hospital which would require you attending to pets, livestock and humans on a daily basis. You may be involved in helping dog breeders get their dogs crossed and their puppies cared for and sold. You may be caring for a dog with fracture from a road traffic accident, relieving constipation in a cat, helping a cow deliver a calf, fumigating a poultry farm, castrating a dog, spaying a queen cat, incubating turkey eggs, and then attending to a human victim of a dog or cat bite case all in one day. Being a practicing veterinarian as a clinician or resident vet could be so colourful with various cases requiring your best attention in each case. Your typical busy day could last from 6am to 12 midnight.
You may also be a government veterinarian working in a Faculty of Veterinary Medicine or in the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources or in a Research Institute or in an Abattoir or an Animal Control Post. A veterinarian is a busy person and sinking yourself into your work could be refreshingly satisfying. You may however be burnt out by the demands for your services especially if you are the sole veterinarian in your clinic in your vicinity.
So if you truly have passion for animals and their owners, a career in Veterinary Medicine is probably good for you Monique. Best wishes.
Hope you find your career path early in life and follow it with all your grit.

What you want to accomplish in a day depends on you job, role but here are a few generic answers:
1> Try to work on as many pets as you possibly can
2> Pay more attention immediately to the pets than lingering
3> It is a team effort - do not hesitate to ask questions and seek help
