Thank you comment icon I would say South Carolina. Jonathan Whitcomb
Thank you comment icon You can search and find out more about all accredited law programs by visiting www.americanbar.org and search for ABA-Approved Law schools. Also, don't rule out a hybrid/remote program as an option, if you don't find a suitable match near you. Best of luck. Ashunda Hampton

Kelly’s Answer

Hello to answer your question there are two locations In South Carolina that are accredited law schools.
1. Charleston School of Law
81 Mary Street, P.o. box 535
Charleston, South Carolina 29402.

2. University of South Carolina School of Law
701 Main Street,
Columbia, SC 29208
It would as well be wise to focus on the www.americanbar.org and click on “online communities” there is a great amount of resources to network, exchange ideas etc.
As a reminder the “University of South Carolina school of Law” has J.D. program and it offers it for full-time which is a three year program.

Renea’s Answer

I think you should google to see where the closest stand-alone law school is or what university nearest you has a School of Law or school of Nursing, etc. Then you can see your options. Remember to be diligent in your studies and present in all things. I do not mean taking drugs or hallucinogens to be present either!

Dan’s Answer

Hi Liam- There are a fair number of law schools near you in both South Carolina and North Carolina. Keep in mind, to enter a law program, you must already have attained a bachelor’s degree, Many universities offer Juris doctor (JD) degrees in law. JD degree programs usually require three years or study beyond the bachelor’s degree. The University of South Carolina in Columbia could be a good option for you to obtain all of your education from Bachelor degree to Doctorate. Programs of Study options for a Bachelor degree(in preparation for Law school) could be :
Communication and Speech Studies, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Ethics, History, International Relations, Paralegal Studies, Political Science and Government, Pre-Law, or Public Policy Studies

The South Carolina Career Information System would be a great resource for you to find schools and programs nearest to you
SCcis.org or AKcis.org
All the best to you in your search
