It is definitely a great field as there are countless opportunities in the corporate world related to fintech. Therefore, my suggestion is for you to search for a good Master Program that would give you hands-on skills and knowledge in financial technologies that can be applied to numerous industries, including banking, finance, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, transportation etc.

Carl’s Answer

Hi Nauval. I don't work in Fintech but as someone that has been using Fintech products, I would say it is worth it. This industry is still growing and there is room for more innovation. If you are on the right end of that growth, you stand to benefit tremendously. A Master's in Fintech can give you the edge over other candidates.

Let's delve deeper into this subject. Fintech companies utilize cutting-edge technology and banking/financial methods to simplify our lives. Examples include banking apps, loan sales, payment automation, credit evaluation, analyzing shopping habits, offering shopping suggestions and deals, and giving travel savings tips.

Most current Master Programs concentrate on certain aspects of skill development, such as funding sources, people management, and project management. These skills are valuable for entering the Fintech world.

Regarding the future of Fintech, when computers emerged in the early 1980s, they addressed office and industrial issues. Nowadays, the focus is on delivering everything to your doorstep, including shopping, food, travel, entertainment, and banking & finance. As time goes on, two things will occur: we will keep automating and questioning the existing banking solutions, and with new technologies like the metaverse and Chat GPT, along with a constantly evolving payments industry, the Fintech sector will continue to grow significantly.
