I would recommend using the products from your initial sales to share through your instagram or twitter account just for your brand. Once you have them have your connections share it within their network. I would also use the social media page for your brand to upload daily pictures of your products as well to help expand.

What is your product? What did you sell? Eventually yes you'll need a website and worry about brand.

In regards to brand, remember that your brand is important. If you do something "off brand", even if it's just a tweet, it can kill any progress you've made.

I think this is an awesome desire!

First, I would figure out your target customer. What are they looking for? Is this the type of clothing they'd purchase? Then, start to build your marketing strategy around that:
- building social sites for your brand
- finding people that like your clothes and getting them to promote it on their own social sites
- bringing it to the places they might be (is it shows, markets, games, etc.)
- putting it on etsy

Once you've built up a bit of money from your sales, you can then start getting into targeting customers with ads on sites like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
