Hey Kelly,
It depends on the type of veterinary school and program you are looking to enter. Generally, prerequisites may include fundamentals of chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics, biology, human anatomy and physiology, microbiology, animal nutrition, animal behavior and genetics. Some schools may also require courses in English and Calculus.
I hope this helps. Good luck

Hello,
Applicants are required to complete certain prerequisite courses for the program, including: Organic Chemistry; Inorganic Chemistry; Biochemistry; Biology/Zoology; Physics; Mathematics/Statistics. Also highly recommended are: Genetics, Microbiology, and Cellular Biology, according to the Veterinary Medical College Application Service. Typically you will need a high GPA, SAT/ACT scores. I would suggest volunteering at a vet's office to get a feel for the profession.
Good luck.
