As already answered, and fortunately as we are all different, each one of us would have a different answer to this question. Everyone will find different ways to relax. However, what is important is to enjoy the moment when you are doing something that you like. You might like to go for a hike during the weekend because you find it relaxing, and you might worry the whole time about issues you have at work, at school, at home. You will then come back from your hike not feeling relaxed. If you hike and are fully present, enjoy the fresh air, nature around you, people with you on the hike, wildlife, etc., you will feel refreshed at the end of your hike. You might go to a yoga class, to the gym, to a movie, visit a friend. Go there for you, be fully there and enjoy it 100%. Then, you will be relaxed afterwards. Key word is really to be in the moment.

Hi Henry,
No one can answer this question better than yourself.
What do you enjoy? What makes you feel calm?
For me, it’s finding a quiet place, preferably somewhere outside where I can sit with a cup of tea, read the Bible, pray, write in a journal, or just absorb the sights and sounds of nature around me.
My husband, on the other hand, does not feel relaxed in that scenario. He likes to watch action movies that contain senseless violence, killing, swearing, and all kinds of abuse. While I can’t see what is relaxing about those movies, we are both happy when he does his thing and I do mine.
I state these things to show you that no one can tell you how to relax and there is no single best way to relax. You have to figure out what is meaningful to you. What gives you a sense of peace and rest?
