Hello Emma,
As a nurse, you will encounter all sorts of patients. Every patient is unique and different and you need to be open and respectful to each one. Some patients can be rude, some can be very kind, some come from all walks of life. Ultimately, it is up to the nurse to handle these situations professionally and compassionately, no matter what the situation may be. There is no one demographic associated with patients, as you can provide care to individuals from all different backgrounds. In terms of how nurses are treated, it varies depending on the organization and area, but for the most part, nurses are respected for the important work they do in providing care for patients.
humane interaction.
As a nurse, you will be dealing with a wide range of patients. Some may be very friendly and appreciative of your help, while others may be more challenging. It is important to approach each situation with an open mind and to remember to treat each patient with respect and compassion. You will likely be the first responder to many patient's medical questions, so it is important to provide accurate and timely information each time you interact with a patient. Additionally, you should ensure that you document all medical information accurately and timely. While some patients may be rude and uncooperative, it is important to remain professional and handle the situation in a respectful manner. It is also essential to follow all medical protocols and regulations to ensure patient safety.
I hope this helps. Good luck .

You will encounter all kinds of patients and attitudes from people. Just like you do anywhere in life. There's all kinds of different beliefs and cultures that you may encounter. deal with. As a nurse you are typically the person who takes care of their family members and who they will see most often. They may be dealing with many other stresses that we know nothing about. Just a smile would make their day better 😊. Always treat them like you would want to be treated.

Similar to any career you choose you will find people that treat you well and others that may not. For me, I work hard not take things personally. You will learn this in school and how to keep good boundaries and how to communicate with all types of people. Mostly as in any place you are in life people generally respond positively to respect.

Hey Emma!
You will encounter all kinds of patients as a nurse. Nurses are a vital part of the medical system and yes some patients don't realize this and tend to be rude. but there are definitely days when you are greeted very well ad treated the way you should be. Most patients love their nurses since they are the ones spending more time with the patients than the doctors and ad days are there for every profession so everyone has to just let them go ad start a new day. Depending o which department you are in also decides what kind of patients you encounter on a daily basis for example if you wish to be a pediatric nurse you have different challenges that an ER nurse etc. but in spite of all those I think it's a rewarding job because eve one smile can make your day. It's best to volunteer or shadow to know exactly how the situation is out there.
Hope this helps.
