James’s Answer

The answer to this question is going to be employer specific. Sometimes companies hire and train their own security. Sometimes they contract with a security company.

Taylor’s Answer

You would need to check with what specific employer you are going to be working for. If you have questions about this, I would encourage you to contact the company you are wanting to work for and ask them if they could direct you to who is in charge of their benefits so they can explain that to you.

Jason’s Answer

It will depend on the company and your regular hours worked. Most established security firms will likely have benefits after a certain number of days (60 or 90). You'll likely get basic coverage for medical and dental. I'm not certain there will other benefits like 401k or tuition reimbursement, etc. All good questions to ask during the interview process.

GABRIEL’s Answer

Benefits offered by any employer will vary so it is best to do your research as you find a job you may be interested in. Benefits usually also vary depending on whether you work part time or full time. Most full time positions offer healthcare plans, vacation, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and some offer a financial bonus.
