Graduating from high school is a huge milestone.
One major goal may be finding a career/profession which suits you.
More than one path can get you there. The key is to figure out what you want to do and make a road map to reach your destination.
Most jobs require at least a high school diploma. Other jobs require some education or training after high school. You may need an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, or more advanced degree for some careers.
Post high school options:
4-year college or university
2-year community college
Trade and certificate programs
Military
Going straight into the workforce
Gap year
I suggest you research about different majors/professions , choose the one you are interested in and apply for a College.
Take a tour to college
Find out the pre requisites for college application
Work on SOP ( statement of purpose)
Have good references from your teachers
Take guidance from your counselor at the school
Find a Mentor
Hope this helps and you get an idea on where to start.

Hi Yonathan!
Graduating from high school is amazing ! If you're not sure if college is for you, or even what you'd like to do in the future, a great option is to attend a local community college for a two year program! This will give you an associates degree (so then you'll be an official college grad) and it's usually a low cost option to more expensive colleges. You can actually go to google right now and type in your zip code along with "community college" and one will pop up in your area. If you have high enough grades they usually have scholarships too. You can also look into volunteering opportunities to gain more work experience. Please come on back and post any further questions you may have here at careervillage .com. Thank you,

Think about what you want to do after high school. Do you want to go to college, join the military, start working, or take a gap year? Having a plan will help you stay focused and motivated. If you're not sure what you want to do after high school, take some time to explore your options. Talk to your guidance counselor, visit college campuses, research different career paths, and talk to people in those fields. Whatever you decide to do after high school, focus on building skills that will help you in the future. Take classes, volunteer, work part-time, or participate in extracurricular activities that will help you develop skills like communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership. Whether you're going to college or starting a job, it's important to learn how to manage your finances. Make a budget, learn about credit and debt, and start saving early. Keep in touch with your friends from high school, but also make an effort to meet new people and build new relationships. Join clubs or organizations that interest you, attend events on campus, and network with professionals in your field

Road trip! Travel and enjoy life for a summer at least. Intern at different places and/or explore jobs in various industries. Get into college, JC, or vocational school. Whatever you do don't stop learning, experiencing new things and growing!

100% agree with previous posts, just adding to do something! It's far too easy to get comfortable in your social life after graduating and then realize your peers have moved on to the next step. Best of luck!
