What steps should I take to become a professional music engineer?
I am a senior in high school who wish to make music engineering a major and career once I go to college and and out. I've been wondering what route should I make to become a music engineer and soon afterwards have my own studio and be a producer. #music engineer #music industry #engineering #music-production

Hi Warren,
I would strongly recommend finding an internship at a music studio where you can learn the ropes through helping on real life music recording projects. Alongside interning, there are also many excellent programs in audio engineering, some which are through community colleges and some at 4-year traditional music schools. It depends where you want to go after high school.

I think you should do what you want to do. Nothing is difficult if you put you heart into it.
