What's challenging about being a Pediatrician?

I've always wanted to be a Pediatrician because I love children and I take interest with math and science, however, people always tell me that its not easy going into medical school. Everyone says that they'll most likely try to intimidate us the first day, but I know that this is something dear to my heart because I get a chance to help people. What's challenging about being a doctor? #medicine #helping-others #pediatrics

Follow your heart. People in our lives will always try to intimidate us. If we all listened to those who put us down, we’d never get anywhere.
I’ve always wanted to be a social worker. My family and friends discriminated against it stating I’d make no money. So I went into pre-med in hopes of becoming a pediatrician to still help people but also to please my family by making more money. It’s all science, anatomy, physics... etc. if it’s what you want to do, it can be done. For me, after 3 years, I switched back to obtain my BSW & MSW.
Don’t waste your life chasing a profession based upon what others want or expect from you. No one knows what you want better than you. Prepare for hard work, late nights, and constant studying.
Other than that, if it’s what you want... go for it!
