The Bureau of Labor Statistics lists the national average salary of a pediatrician in 2020 as $184,570
This is an average salary, salary varies from state to state.
Pediatrician or any Doctors earning depends upon the following:
Do you work for a hospital?
Do you have your own practice?
No of years of experience
How much customer base you have (comes with experience and referrals)
How many hours you work etc.
Hope this helps!

Hello,
The salary can very from state to state if you are in America.
Here is a link to get an average of the income to determine what you can estimate as a salary in this field.

Bonnie’s Answer
I can answer this question in one sentence, but I am most concerned that those interested enter into the medical field, particularly pediatrics, for the right reasons. Children are our most vulnerable. They need caring doctors and other healthcare professionals to see to their needs, not people seeking only financial wellness. Please assure me that you love kids and that you want to care for them more than anything in the world. Having said that, you can make between $150,000 and $300,000 on average throughout the United States. If you specialize in pediatric cardiology, surgery or the like, you can make even more.
Research the field of Pediatrics-easily done on Google
Speak with several Pediatricians. Ask one to mentor you. Perhaps volunteer in his/her clinic.
