It is never to early or too late to begin your journey towards entrepreneurship. Start by developing a plan, then develop your product and brand, and make sure to use creative marketing strategies to stand out amongst the rest in your field.

Hi, Luis ,
I appreciate your question, and having a business can be a rewarding career. However, assuming you're still in HS, my answer is "Not now." I say that because starting a business requires a significant financial investment, setting up multiple agreements with banks, business licenses, liability insurance, property insurance, rentals, purchases, advertising, hiring employees, dealing with tax accounts, lawyers and possibly more. All of that is doable, but you may feel more comfortable in doing that if you have a healthy bank account when starting. Businesses tend to not show a profit for the first several months or more, and you may not break even for a year or more. So, you may prepare yourself by working for a business and learning from the management during that apprenticeship prior to making the leap to your own business. I admire that you're thinking on this now, as that gives you time to visualize the direction, define specific steps to move toward that goal, and to have your own action plan. I wish you the very best.
