How hard is it to double major, and minor?

I want to double major in Music Education and Theatre, and also minor in Spanish in college. I have been doing some research and it seems like it will take a very long time and be incredibly busy to do so. #BYUProvo #college-major #music #career-counseling #college

It is definitely challenging, but totally possible! If this is something you are passionate about and will get you closer to your end goal, it is worth it. You can also take courses during summer school and wintermester if this is available. If not, you can do it at your community college that will transfer the credits, at least for your basics. That's what I did when I was in college, so definitely possible.

Great question! I can speak from experience, as I am currently double majoring in accounting and finance while minoring in entrepreneurship. The difficulty level primarily depends on the majors and minor that you choose. Something else to consider is that, although it does not directly correspond to difficulty level, certain majors' classes may overlap. For instance, some of my required courses overlap for accounting and finance, allowing me to take more advanced electives with my free time. Overall, there is no specific answer for how challenging it is, but you can expect it to be more challenging than having only one major and no minor. As long as you work hard and enjoy your studies, it is absolutely manageable!
