It is a big coincidence that I get this question, I am very passionate about agriculture and natural resources ..To answer to your question , I would say to study agronomy or agronomy technology . It is a big field that has various specialties.
I would contact some local community college and inquire about the program, when you are doing your search , please type agronomy.
