In my opinion based on graduates I know and have seen their work, ABAC in Tifton, GA is the best for the level of education received as well as cost. They provide both two and four year degrees in animal and botanical agricultural majors.

It depends on what you want to do in agriculture. If you want to work in some of the more ag specific jobs like agronomist or a farm manager than an ag specific school might be best. However, within the agriculture industry there are jobs in IT, HR, Food Safety, R&D, sales, etc. If there is a career that you are interested in you can probably find an agriculture company that has that position. There are even positions available in nutrition and cooking. Many companies that produce seed are interested in how new varieties will prepare, cook, and what nutrition they provide. Just don't fall into the trap of thinking that only a traditional four year university degree will work.

Great question Dylan!
I know Texas A&M is a great agriculture school. They have other campuses besides their main campus in College Station, TX. I know they are big on all things agriculture and I have seen their many test sites, greenhouses, and land/plant areas around Texas. Even though I am a big TCU fan, I think Texas A&M is a great university for agriculture.
