How do I brake the bad habit of procrastination.
This happens to me a lot. Especially in math class. I want to do the work and I plan about it, but sometimes I get to distracted. I want to do better to change my life so I can influence and help others as well.#sociology #music #theatre

First off, know that you are not alone! It is a very common thing that I struggle with as well. Don't beat yourself up, but also, don't give yourself a 'pass' to continue.
For me, it is about writing things down in a 'to-do' list, with a date (if I have one) so I can keep the priority straight. I use old-school pen and paper, but you can use you phone, tablet or computer if it is easier for you.
This gives me a go-to place where I can see what I have to do, and I put a check box in front of each entry, so I can check it off when I'm done. Just having that list helps me when I'm drawn away from doing what I need to do and to go binge watch Netflix...
What are your triggers? Do you know why you put things off? This is also a bit of self-introspection you'll need to do--to figure out why you are not doing the math or other stuff. What distracts you? Are you scared? Bored? Be honest with yourself and see if you can identify why you stray from what you know you need to do (and want to!)
I found a great website that might help you with procrastination, which can be a part of time management, really. It's called "7 Time Management Techniques for Teens". Check it out:

You will need to focus on stress and time management. In order to manage stress you have to manage your time wisely. You have to set a routine for yourself and stick to it for the most part. Once you get into the groove of a routine it will be much easier for you to manage your time and have enough time for everything you need to do (including relaxing). Make yourself to-do lists on a weekly basis, use Google calendar or a planner to keep track of events, deadlines, and due dates. In addition to setting a routine and sticking to it, plan out relaxing activities into your day. Or set aside a time, after everything is done for the day, that you can have "me" time. I have also personally found it essential to not only find time for myself but also make use of that time in a way that is best for me and my holistic wellness. I have found the HeadSpace app to be an essential tool in helping me relax and generally feel more relaxed throughout the day, Guided meditation, even if you have a busy schedule, will make you feel more at ease and relaxed throughout the day as a whole (not just when you have the time to relax and focus on that "me" time).
