Ismael’s Answer

Pharmacy tech would involve measuring medications, writing prescriptions and any other work a pharmacist would require help in.
You need to be precise as errors in medication doses or packaging could have serious consequences for patients.
Multitasking is also necessary. You could be filling prescriptions while answering phone calls and assisting patients at the counter.
You might also stand for long periods of time.
However, if you have good communication skills, comfortable with numbers, a basic understanding of medical terminology, and you're familiar with computer software and other technology used in pharmacies you'll more than likely be okay.

Corey’s Answer

It depends on what you consider “hard”. Pharmacy technicians do many technical tasks right, but one of the biggest things they do is help patients, and deal with issues with patients all day long. Do you consider it hard to solve problems? Do you consider it hard to deal with angry patients that want their medications NOW? This is the part of the retail pharmacy that most people don’t know about until they experience working at it. I would say if you’re good at dealing with stressful situations, if you’re happy multitasking and working hard, then you can handle it but it’s harder than you might think.
