Jonathan,
There is a whole world of opportunity out there for you with a business degree. The options are quite literally endless. It all depends on what interests you. You can pursue business degrees in Marketing, Finance, Management, Accounting, and much much more. Additionally, many colleges with business schools allow you to go in without picking a major. I did not have to choose my major until Junior year of college. In the first two years I was able to take classes in all areas of business to see what interested me the most. busines college

Jonathan,
That's a great question. There are many types of business degrees, and I have seen many friends use their business degrees to go all over the world in different career positions.

First of all, I'd like to say that a business degree is a great way to understand how businesses function, how our economy works, how to create and sell new products or ideas, and how to track & manage business costs and personal finances. If these are things that you're interested in studying, or areas that you feel drawn to, then I think you'd enjoy pursuing a business degree.

Since everyone has different interests, strengths, and goals, it's hard to determine exactly what job opportunities you could have through a business degree, but I will give you a few examples of what I've seen my friends and family members do after getting a business degree. I personally used my business degree to leave my small hometown to work at a large financial services firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. One of my best friends got a business degree and moved to China to teach Economics. Another good friend of mine used her business degree to land a job as charitable service organizer at a non-profit group.

I think you can use a business degree to take you to many different areas. During your course of studying, you might even find new opportunities that you didn't even know you were interested in before.
