Hi Bella,
CNAs take care of patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and even personal homes. I worked as a CNA before I became an RN. It prepared me for nursing school.
Becoming a CNA is a good idea if you want to eventually work as a nurse or other healthcare worker. You learn the basics about the healthcare field. It's also great because you'll get to work with nurses so you can see what they do and ask them questions about their job. This way, you can decide if you want to become a nurse too.

I worked for the Job Corps in the past. CNA is a great entry point for higher levels of medical training. A CNA can then become an Medical Assistant and then move on to becoming an LVN/LPN. Then after a few years of college you can become a Registered Nurse. I suggest you stay in the Job Corps to complete as much of your training as possible. You might be able to graduate as an LVN/LPN if you attend advanced training or college training if its available. You may have to transfer to another campus for advanced training. Either way, keep up you class attendance and work hard. Those are the types of students who are able to get the most of out Job Corps.
