If I get a job working for a hospital would they pay for the rest of my college?
Say I have my RN and a hospital hires me- would they pay for the rest of my college education to become a Pediatric ARNP? #nursing-education

Sarah, it totally depends on the facility. In general larger hospitals and hospital systems have more generous tuition programs. If this is a key benefit to you, it's important that you ask detailed questions during your interview and hiring process. Some places pay for a limited number of credits per semester or year and, in my experience, will require a certain minimum grade before reimbursement.

Hi Sarah-
Great question!! It really depends. The larger teaching hospitals and in metro city areas typically have higher reimbursement for their employees. In my experience, typically this covers 1-2 courses a year (undergraduate.) The employee often has to pay up front (approval needed up front also,) pass with a certain grade (usually a B or 3.0) and then submit paper work for reimbursement. Wish you the best! Melissa
