How to get started on being a zoologist and what colleges to consider?

I was planning on going to college for a zoology major and maybe veterinary school afterwards.

If you are still in high school, I would try to take as many science classes as possible such as biology, chemistry, and physics. You may be able to start your "pre-vet med" classes in college that can include some of these courses to put you in the right direction. I usually recommend also shopping around with colleges in your area and online programs to get your best foot forward in your journey. Look for passing rates and speak with students on their experience with that specific school. I hope this helps!
