Roberto, psychiatrists are physicians who have graduated from medical school after college and then gone on to do a psychiatry residency (typically a four year program). If you are not looking for such a long training pathway, there are indeed other careers in the mental health field.
You can consider going to nursing school for your bachelors degree in nursing (BSN). You can either work in a psychiatric setting as a registered nurse (RN) or going on for further training to become an advanced practice psychiatric nurse who with the additional training would be able to practice more independently.
With just a high school diploma plus some on-the-job training you may be able to get a job as a psychiatric aide or psychiatric technician (though psych techs sometimes need college degrees or even masters degreed depending on what they are being hired to do and in what setting).
There are also numerous psychology and counseling positions, all of which would require at least a bachelors degree and often a graduate degree as well.
