Hi Taneeyah! 🌟
I understand that finding a 2-year curriculum can be challenging, but they are out there! Monroe College in New Rochelle, NY is a great option. With its incredibly flexible modalities and schedules, you'll have no trouble finding the perfect program to suit your needs.
What's more, is that most professors at Monroe remain active in their respective fields, enriching the classroom experience with real-life examples and first-hand knowledge. Plus, the school has a fantastic network of firms and organizations in NYC, offering you the opportunity to land some truly amazing internships.
In fact, my husband and I are proud Monroe College graduates, and we now have exciting careers at prestigious accounting firms. So, keep your spirits high and embark on this journey with confidence. You've got this, Taneeyah!
Wishing you all the best in your educational endeavors and beyond! 🌈🎓

Hey Taneeyah! It's wonderful that you reached out to us seeking advice! You strike me as a truly practical person, and I believe you have a bright future ahead. Given your aspirations, I think considering a ladderized program for business or any related programs in business would be an excellent choice for you.
Let me share something inspiring from my own experience: I've encountered students pursuing a BS in Accountancy who went on to become Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and eventually enrolled in the College of Law to become CPA lawyers. Additionally, many business-savvy individuals choose to take their education to the next level by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in graduate school.
The great news is that there are so many opportunities in the business world for someone with your mindset and drive! I'm confident that with dedication and hard work, you'll create a successful and fulfilling path for yourself. Keep striving for the best, Taneeyah!

Hi Taneeyah,
A "2-year JD program" is a Juris Doctor degree that is offered independently of a bachelor's degree. Typically, students are required to complete the same number of credit hours as traditional three-year JD students, but in a more condensed period.
Here's a step-by-step guide to becoming a lawyer in South Carolina:
Attend an undergraduate program. ...
Take the law school admissions test (LSAT) ...
Apply to law schools. ...
Attend an ABA-accredited law school and earn a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. ...
Pass the South Carolina state bar exam. ...
Become a member of the South Carolina Bar.
However pls ensure that when it comes to education you need to complete it as per the organized structure, completing it early would impact your education, you will get less time and may be miss out few imp thing So would suggest dont be in rush take time and finish your studies, it's just matter of an additional 1 year and you will be done with the LAW degree.
Think and move forward.
All the V Best for your Future.

I could not find a 2 year business law program and there are only a few 4 year programs with such a major. https://www.collegerank.net/best-bachelors-business-law/ has a list. Personally, I'd think a general business degree would have more value than a business law one.
Keep in mind that with an undergraduate 4y business law degree, you will NOT be a lawyer and cannot practice law in any state. To become a lawyer, you would need to complete a 4 undergraduate degree and then attend Law School which generally takes 3 more years to earn a Juris Doctor or JD . In law school you could specialize in business law if you choose.

Finding a 2 year program for business law is difficult since most places only have 4 year programs. If business law is something you really like, go to a 2 year collage and get your general credits out of the way. This will allow you to decide if business law is something you are still interested in without wasting your money. You can also go to John Jay Collage for criminal Justice where you can get exposed to many different 2 year programs.
