I understand that you may not be excited to hear this, but the first step towards achieving your future goals, even in film, is to work on improving your grades.
Although you may find some subjects boring or irrelevant to your interests, it's important to remember that colleges, including those for film, consider your grades as an indicator of your ability to learn and your potential to succeed in a college environment.
To balance your grades and enjoy your time in high school, you may want to consider participating in extracurricular activities related to your interests or film, such as school plays, the school newspaper, or the school radio. This way, you can pursue your passions while also developing important skills and experiences that will benefit you in the future.
