Hi, Dixie,
High School is the final phase of secondary education. The only requirement is successfully completing its prerequisite, whether called middle school or junior high school. These are important years, as here you will, likely for the first time, have choices on some of the classes that you take, as your first step in taking ownership of your further education. All the best to you,

Hello Dixie!
Some places have "specialized" public schools aka examination high schools, where students need to take a test to enter.
However, most high schools do not have any requirements. You only need to finish the previous levels of school (K-8th grade).
Sending you support as you enter high school :)
