I recommend taking some community college courses if you can. I remember when I was took summer courses at my community college, I learned and understood more about what I actually like and what I actually did not like. Some times we focus on what we really like about something but we do not realize there might be steps you need to take before you actually do what you enjoy.

Hello Binairys! I can see that you have three fascinating interests that you've mentioned, and discovering your lifelong career is definitely an exciting journey. I'd like to encourage you to rank your interests from your first choice to your third choice. This way, you'll have a clearer focus on which path to take in the long run.

Your math skills show exceptional potential, and if you were to continue majoring in Mathematics, there are vast opportunities waiting for you. Consider careers like a Math Teacher in basic education or at a university level or perhaps majoring in Engineering. All you need to do is some research to find the specific degree program that suits you best.

Dancing is a delightful passion, and it brings joy to people who love it. Although it may seem more like a hobby to some, don't underestimate the possibilities of turning it into a career if it truly sparks happiness for you.

Cosmetology, on the other hand, offers an enticing prospect of time freedom and the potential to operate your own shop in the future. This could be an incredible side hustle for you, and once you've received proper training in this field, success is just around the corner!

Ultimately, whatever you choose to pursue should bring you happiness and a sense of fulfillment. Before making your final decision, carefully weigh the pros and cons, taking into account your time, effort, and monetary investment. Life may be challenging, but by making well-informed decisions, you can pave the path for a bright and successful future. Keep chasing your dreams, and always remember - the sky is the limit!

Barlara’s Answer

You can pursue everything you like! just make sure you prioritize according to your vision of the future.

As a dancer, your work life time is limited, as in all sports... but you can do it at different times than the schedule usually required from mathematicians. Cosmetologist sounds fun and to be honest if you have your own practice, you can make good money.

Both arts and self care can happen at same time as something that is based in numbers. You can be an actuary, a teacher... too many options that would involve math and can give you a stability as in career path towards retirement.

You can work very hard and make it all fall into the right place. Only YOU can decide how much effort and discipline you put into it. The values at your core are the ones that will really guide you through life. Sky is the limit!

Good luck!!

definitely continue with math - and continue with dance. Generally speaking, one should pursue not one but two if if not several subjects/[pursuits when young. Tastes and interests change. Furthermore, dance requires physicality - and one needs a backup in case of injury. Notwithstanding all of that - definitely do both - as dance requires timing and rhythm - which is, math!. Enjoy!

I would also recommend taking some different classes so that you can see what you really like and/or really good at. I have known many people who have turned what they like into a career and then decided that they do not like it when they have to do it every day. Take opportunities and explore all your possibilities.
