Hello Katherine!

Public Health is a common degree used by people who want to enter medicine.

Other degrees used are:
- biology
- chemistry
- physics
- health science
- biochemistry
- nursing

To see which major would work best for medical school, research the type of medical schools you'd like to attend.
Read their admissions requirements. They'll usually tell you which classes you need to take in order to get in.

You can find a list of accredited medical schools in the US here: https://lcme.org/directory/accredited-u-s-programs/

Also, check out the American Medical Association's articles about getting into medical school: https://www.ama-assn.org/medical-students/preparing-medical-school

Sending you encouragement as you map out your path :)
