Hi Sanaiya,
The fact that you want to help people in need is great because that will help you to be successful in nursing!

I'll share my story. I started off working as a CNA. My CNA class lasted for about 2 months and I got to train at a nursing home. It was the first time I saw patients. I was scared but the classes were fun and I learned a Iot. I eventually finished and worked in nursing homes with the elderly. I was able to help them shower, get dressed, and eat. I also took their blood pressure and temperature. Sometimes I had to collect urine samples. Being a CNA can be a lot of work, but you can get help from your coworkers. Plus you'll feel really good when you know that you made your patients feel better.

LPNs are nurses who give patients medicine, do procedures (also called "skills") like changing wound bandages, and help doctors with checkups. They can also teach patients about how to stay healthy. I didn't become a LPN. Instead I became a registered nurse. If you really want to be a LPN, you can do that first, then become a registered nurse later if you want. Registered nurses can do more skills and get paid more. Good luck to you!

CNAs assist patients with daily functions like eating and bathing. For a CNA you will need high school diploma or GED. Then attend a CNA training program. Check with local community colleges trade schools and some hospitals offer these programs. Before enrolling, prospective CNAs should be sure the program they are looking into is approved by their state’s nursing board and by the National League for Nursing Accredited Commission. Upon completion students are required to pass a CNA certification examination. Each state may have different requirements for becoming a CNA. You will have the opportunity to work in numerous places from hospitals, long-term care facilities and home health agencies to name a few. Working as a CNA will teach you valuable skills that you will use and build upon once you become a nurse, including, Interacting with patients. Managing your time. Becoming efficient in personal care.

LPNs usually provide more basic nursing care and are responsible for the comfort of the patient. medication, test, and procedures. The requirements to get into a program includes high school diploma/GED, Background check, Entrance exam, and prerequisites for program. After completing the LPN program, you will need to sit for NCLEX/PN and pass. Some of the most common places for an LPN to work are at a nursing home, assisted living facility or retirement home to assist elderly people with their care. Some hospitals and Dr's offices also employ LPN.

After all this work you should continue the journey. They have LPN to RN bridge program. Which after all prerequisites are completed, will only take a year to get your RN license. Also most employers will pay for your education with agreement the you will work for them after completion of degree.
Best of luck. ME
