what should I go for?
I don't know whether to go for anesthesiology or for something more artistic, I love video games and could work in development but I also love medical science.

This is more of an opinion answer (as I think any answer would be) but if it were ME I'd go with anesthesiology. BUT I don't have any experience with that so I really have no idea if you would enjoy that job.
What I do know is you will make a whole lot more money in a much more stable industry.
Put it this way, if I had the aptitude for going to medical school I would have.
Loving video games is great, but developing them is a whole other thing. I do very much enjoy my job (most of the time) and it's cool working on cool games (most of the time) but there's a lot of turnover in games depending on what you choose to do as a developer (art, programming, design)
I think at the end of the day you should follow your passion. But if you're lucky enough to have a passion for medicine and have the ability to practice medicine I think you'd honestly be crazy to pass that up.
Just my opinion of course :)

Thank you, I do have the drive and ambition to go for anesthesiology, I just fear that the length of the education might be too much for me, but we'll see.
