Being a nutritionist and a Registered Dietitian are 2 different roles.
Many nutritionists work for Women, Infants, and Infants Program.
The nutritionist sees low risk clients. Providing education during pregnancy, during infancy and for children under 5. They need to take heights and weights of women and children. Evaluation growth of infants and children.
Nutritionists, typically, have at least an associates degree and are given training. They need to be able to use the internet for documentation, have good communication skills, and be able to reach a variety of different people to provide education. They work under the license of a registered dietitian.
Depending on which state you live in, you can learn more by going to your states board of Dietetics and Nutritionists. There you will find specific guidelines about the rules for your state.
