How do i become a vet or work in the biology field?

Since i’ve been little i always wanted to be a vet but now that i still want to, i realized i don’t know where to start. Just in case i have always been good in biology and would use it as a second option. So what does it take and how do i start?

Biology is a great start to getting started in veterinary medicine, since that is one of the courses you may take in veterinary school. Also look into volunteering or applying to shelters to get some experience working in the field. Also take this time to figure out exactly what you would like to do in the vet field (teaching, marine animals, etc) to know what courses your should focus on. You are on the right path, lots of science classes and anatomy, I hope this helps!
