Your working with your hands in particular and in general doing manual labor, so a certain amount of dexterity and strength are required. Often times you could be working outdoors in the elements. If your working with larger cables most companies have hydraulic cable benders, but they still can be heavy and bulky. So you fingers, hands, and wrists can get quite a workout.
Frequently you will be working in a group so communicating and getting along with the other members is important.
