In Texas, the hourly wage typically falls between $15 and $25. However, this can vary based on your level of experience and the qualifications you possess. Each state has its own set of requirements for licensing.

Offices that specialize in certain areas often offer higher pay, but they usually require more experience.

To boost your earnings, focus on enhancing your skills and improving your qualifications. It's also crucial to find an office that aligns with your work style and culture.

Having Dental Sealants, Coronal Polishing, and Nitrous Oxide on your resume can significantly enhance your qualifications.

Myrissa’s Answer

Hi there!

It always depends on where you are located and experience.

-I started in South Dakota and was trained on the job - I made $12.25 per hour.
-I then moved to Idaho and had 2 years of experience and I asked for $18 an hour.
-2 years later I made $19 an hour.

Don't be afraid to bring up wage and what you expect to make or would be comfortable making.

It is also about negotiation and what skills you bring to the table. Most offices will negotiate with you on a price. Also a "working interview" is an awesome chance to showcase your skills!
