How long did it take you to get your degree?
I want to be a general surgeon after medical school because it seems like a fun position to be in, helping people directly. #doctor #medicine #surgery #surgeon
Surgery can be pretty stressful, not to mention requiring a lot of skills. It also takes a heck of a lot of school, but I'm sure it's very rewarding. For quick degrees, you may want to look at this list: http://www.rasmussen.edu/degrees/health-sciences/blog/list-healthcare-jobs-launch-two-years-less/
For information on just general surgery: http://learn.org/articles/Whats_the_Job_Description_of_a_General_Surgeon.html
Hope this helps!

To become a general surgeon you need to complete medical school and then complete a general surgery residency program, which is 5 more years after medical school. Good luck!
