What is some good advice on the steps to becoming a psychiatrist?

I'm a Junior in high schools that loves great advice and learning form others. To help with my question just briefly give me some tips or advice to help out. For example say I'm on the path to the first step of becoming a psychiatrist, you then can say something like if you go on to do this try out this or that it will help.

Hello! Your exciting adventure to become a psychiatrist involves these steps: Begin by finishing a Bachelor's Degree Program at a recognized school. Next, take the Medical Colleges Admissions Test. Continue by completing an M.D. or D.O. Program. Some psychiatrists also choose to join fellowship programs for extra learning. Finally, remember to keep your license and board certification up to date. You've got this!

I would say don't limit yourself to only one field or role outcome if you are interested in psychology at a general level. The competencies of active listening, coaching and counseling others, and being a trusted advisor are all chief elements of a good leader or people manager -- a role you could explore in any area of business. In your education, look into organizational psychology courses and explore the psychology of business - i.e., how mental models impact business relationships and negotiation. I think you'll find there's a lot to explore beyond just a clinical or medical setting in these skill areas.
