THere are many scholarships available which you may use for gaming provided by retailers who support education. You do not have to be pursuing a job with these companies full time but may begin part time and meet their requirements and receive a scholarship to use for your gaming career. (ie. Lowe's and Target)

There are a few scholarships, but no where near as many as there should be. And if there were, how would you make sure you place in the top few percent of those applying? Now there are some less expensive alternatives, some public and community colleges in your home state might offer the chance to get started for a lot less. If you could stay at home and commute, that would cut down on living expenses. My advice is to look for the schools first, and then worry about the money...
